“Well worth it”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 February 2012

This hotel is very conveniently located just a stones throw away from Oxford Street and Bond Station. The hotel staff is very helpful at all times. The room was comparatively big and housekeeping was very timely. Overall - worth the pounds spent.

Stayed here in advance of a visa interview at the US embassy and found it perfect. Not only was it a stones throw from the embassy, it was also a lot closer to Selfridges and Oxford St than anticipated so a great all round location. We travelled with children and the crib was booked via the on line concierge and was ready on arrival. It helped that we had cute kids but the receptionists made a big fuss of them and made us all really welcome. We had room service which was both prompt in delivery and of good quality - the childrens meal felt like thought had gone into it and was just frozen fish fingers. Only slight grumble was a standard tray charge then a gratuity automatically included. Room all clean and comfortable, nice standard of toiletries in bathroom. Wouldn't hestitate to return if I needed to be in part of the world again

Stayed here in December and thoroughly enjoyed it! Great looking and excellent location for everything you want.Staff were very helpful and we loved the helpful doormen, the only complaint comes when you leave for the airport when you ask the concierge for a taxi they will try and get you one of their own cars to take you for £75. We walked to the taxi rank just outside the hotel and took a taxi which cost £55 to LHR Terminal 3. The driver told us that this is regular ploy from the hotels concierge. All in all though a great stay!

My firm has a corporate rate at this Marriott and I've stayed here often. The hotel has always been "fine" but not "wonderful." But something has happened in the last few months to change my mind. The service level at the hotel is greatly improved. The front desk staff, bellmen, executive lounge staff - all of them have a fresh new can-do attitude and much much friendlier disposition. Hats off for the changes!

The rooms continue to be comfortable, clean and well-equiped. Was upgraded on my last stay to a exec room #242 and it couldn't have been nicer. Internet is blazing fast; tea/coffee in the room; comfortable bed; all good. Highly recommended. And thank you for the great recent experience.

Room Tip: Lower level rooms have been upgraded. Rooms on the square tend to be louder but have a nice view...

Stayed here on a recent business trip to London. The staff were excellent, very good service, and the room was immaculate, with perfect soundproofing - totally silent when i tried to get to sleep, and i am a very light sleeper. The only minor negative is that the room was small, but it was enough for my needs and the little extras like ipod dock were very welcome. The bathroom was the cleanest I have ever had.
I didn't try the restaurant, but the bar was very enjoyable, busy with a modern feel and very attentive staff.
