One of the first stops we took during our European tour with Trafalgar. Hotel is definitely not posh but rooms are just right for an overnighter. Bfast is basic, bread coissants, jam juice cereal cheese milk. Facilities in the room were quite good for the price. There was a safety deposit box, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, fridge, mini bar and toiletries. What put me off however was the smell of the room which can me compare to vinegar. It might be because they use bleach free organic cleaners but i hope they could improve the smell. Hotel staff were a bit cold but i guess trafalgar tourists are their daily bread and butter.
What was great about this hotel is that bus stops are very near and the tube/underground is about 500meters away.

We needed a hotel on the west side of London, with parking. The Holiday Inn's (our usual choice) car park was out of use so we paid £93 for B & B at the Ibis. Pleasant staff but the room was a bit shabby, with chipped paintwork and grubby walls and carpet. (room 953) The room was small but adequate for 1 night, and the views from the 9th floor were good. The bar is like stepping back 30 years, into a British styled pub, The George and Dragon. Bit odd! Despite being told we had a Full English Breakfast we were directed back into the pub for a continental breakfast in the morning. White or brown bread (not wholemeal) in plastic bags beside a single toaster, cheap cornflakes, tinned grapefruit and croissants; paper cups for juice or tea/coffee. One of the poorest breakfasts we have had but we were not really hungry so didn't bother to argue. The car park is good and open to residents and non-residents. ~ £14 for 24 hours for residents, £20 for non-residents. The hotel is very close to West Brompton underground station and an £8 taxi ride from King's Road in Chelsea, where there are several good bars and restaurants. An OK choice if you have to take a car, otherwise there are many better hotels in London for the money.

The hotel is excellent: The staff is helpful, the breakfast is amazing and the rooms are modern and really clean. However, this hotel far from the touristic sites of London. There's a tube station nearby and a bus line just across the street, but it can take you 20-30 min to get to the city. We needed to get a cab late at night and it cost about 20 pounds - not that expensive... If you don't mind commuting, this is a wonderful option!
