Stayed for a 3 night weekend break to celebrate our Pearl Anniversary and we weren't disappointed.
Lovely shared communal areas, reception staff so friendly and helpful from check in onwards. Allocated a lovely room (one of the 5 smoking rooms they have) and been given a free upgrade which was lovely. Room had everything we needed including iron & board (which I didn't realise I would need)...no complaints here.
Breakfasts were included in the price and we enjoyed each and every one...buffet style with full English staples, lovely bacon and sausage, fried and scrambled eggs available on buffet but you could order poached, boiled or omelettes from waiting staff (which I did one morning and very nicely poached they were too)...
Only went in the bar one evening, for a free glass of bubbly we have been given as an anniversary gift but this was clean and welcoming, and staff were so nice and friendly.
All in all a fabulous hotel, staff in all places were friendly and helpful, a credit to the hotel.
Can not offer any suggestions for improvements, just to say keep up the good work. 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it' scenario works for me here, and see you all next time we are down in London .
Thank you all.More
