We visited the hotel and had a tea. We were kindly presented the facilities of the hotel and enjoyed during the comodity and service. The hotel is charming place with a touch of history and outstanding interior. Later we enjoyed the breakfast in a lightful daily restaurant, before visiting other London atractions.
Thank you and warm regards

We visited the Lanesborough as part of my birthday weekend celebrations and we enjoyed our stay. On arrival, our luggage was whisked away and was waiting for us when we completed our check in and arrived in our room. Our butler, who was awaiting our arrival, gave us a quick reminder of the in-room facilities and offered to unpack our luggage. We then settled down to enjoy our beautiful junior suite. We called our butler to arrange for pressing of our garments, and this was executed with ease. Our clothes arrived back in our room finished beautifully. We sampled the Library Bar late at night, and this was very relaxing and enjoyable. We enjoyed cocktails, bar snacks and light bites in the muted lighting. The members of staff in the Library Bar were attentive and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. The next morning we ate breakfast in the Celeste restaurant - a calm and relaxing space. On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff who escorted us to our table. We opted for the Lanesborough breakfast which was delicious. During our meal, staff members ensured that our coffee, juices, etc were replenished, making for a relaxing and satisfying experience. I was pleasantly surprised by a little birthday cake which greeted me in the room on day 2 - my birthday. This was a lovely touch! In addition, our butler noted that it was my birthday and took the time to wish me a happy birthday when he saw me. As we had booked other activities away from the hotel, we did not have time to sample the spa, but all of our interactions with the Lanesborough staff were pleasant and any requests were executed with precision. During our second night, we noted a party taking place on the ground floor. I am pleased to say that the sound proofing was excellent - once we went up to our room, we heard nothing at all. Thank you to the entire team who ensured that our stay was just perfect. Would we stay at the Lanesborough again? In a heartbeat...yes!

This hotel doesn't do anything by halves.

I've stayed a few times now even though I live fairly locally - it's a rare weekend treat and worth every penny.

Remarkable to me is that the hotel still retains so many of it's original features, artworks, chandeliers and furniture... but yet feels brand spanking new.

I love the regency style 'Library bar' and it's iconic nooks and cosy corners - the bar staff bring a three tier silver tower of tasty snacks (i struggle to not eat all the truffle infused nuts) while you paw the menu. You're encouraged to ask for whatever you want.

Like always, on this visit our junior suite was plush and very glamorously appointed - but also super hi-tech with 3 iPads (i counted) to control lighting, tv, music, room service and of course the coup d'maitre - to call the butler! You're encouraged to ask the butler for whatever you want.

We had our private butler escort us personally to the spa - somewhat of a maze to find on first visit - who handed us over lovingly to the in-spa butler... in turn they kept us very hydrated with Hendricks and Tonic while we enjoyed the hydro pool, hamman and played with the complimentary spa products.

The spa closes quite late, so for this visit we opted to relax in our suite, use in-room dining and watch a movie - all movies are on demand and free, with a complimentary delivery of warm popcorn served to the room in an enormous sharing bowl. Half way through our film I called down requesting Ben & Jerry's and they noted our preferred flavours and ventured out to get exactly those. They arrived in their tubs as we had requested but the special touch, a side of berries and each tub hidden under a fabulously oversized and chilled silver dome. I felt very special. In-suite there are small china plates dotted about containing sweets and chocolates - so we cheekily asked for more of those too. You're encouraged to ask for whatever you want.

Hotel hacks:

Breakfast in Celeste is like a movie scene - choose a table in the main area under the ceiling windows - it's magnificent. The service and presentation is so beautiful and the menu very considerate of healthy options... I love the poached egg and kale on gluten free rye.

In summer I recommend a picnic in Hyde Park opposite the hotel... you can call your butler to replenish food and drinks...

As always at this hotel, you're encouraged to ask for whatever you want.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking Hyde Park

The Lanesborough staff was absolutely fantastic and the accommodations were more impressive than we imagined. We literally kissed each staff member upon our departure as we were so grateful and sad to leave this beautiful property. When you dream of London, you want beauty at every level and tradition beyond your expectations. This hotel delivers! Our room was beautifully decorated, the antiques were unique in each room, the technology was great including a hidden TV behind a roiling painting as well as one within the mirror of the powder room. Our bathroom was solid marble included both a shower and luxury soaking tub. Room service was delivered by formally dressed staff and was so scrumptious. Imagine berries hand arranged in perfect as a picture display each morning. Imagine concierges that insure your every desire for adventure becomes a reality. For us that meant horseback riding in Hyde Park, enjoying romantic dinners, and returning each evening for very special nightcaps in the hotel bar. We loved our vacation - thank you.

Our Concierge team are here around the clock to provide assistance to guests for unique outings, special locations for dining at or even just a chat. I am pleased they were able to assist.

Didn't stay at the hotel, but I just had a treatment at the spa.

I had the time of my life whilst making use of the other facilities such as pool and sauna.

The venue is absolutely stunning, all members of staff I encountered were friendly. Special mention goes to Rita who was extremely professional and attentive, great asset to the team!

Thank you very for such an amazing afternoon, will definitely go back and I highly recommend this place to whoever is looking for a great and relaxing time!
