We missed the second floor of the tour as we didnt see the the sign posting for it!
It is quite dark inside (understand why!) but not easy to read the info packs in the rooms
The Diana exhibit is lovely, you need patience to cope with those who gush and/or crowd the show cases, the space that the exhibit in is not really big enough, it must be a nightmare if it is really busy!
We will need to go back to cover what we missed! doh!

We went to Kensington Palace during our stay in London primarily to see the Diana dress exhibition. As we have Royal Palaces membership the visit was essentially free, with a 10% discount on our gift shop purchases. We'd already been to several other Royal Palaces and had 'broken even' on our membership, so this was a bonus.

The dresses were amazing. Even two younger boys enjoyed looking at them. The palace rooms that we could visit were interesting too as there was a lot of history of Queen Victoria's life and King George.

It was blisteringly hot inside the palace and I understand that they can't install massive a/c units but they need to do something to move the air around a bit.

Go early, consider a Royal Palaces membership if you plan to visit two or more palaces - you'll end up saving money.

I love Kensington Palace but on this occasion went for Lady Diana's dresses on display. I was disappointed to find they were towards the end of the tour and not that many on display quite misleading and disappointing.

We paid 15.50 pounds each to see the Diana exhibition. We'd been to the palace before and it was as nice as always. However, the Diana exhibition was very short. It didn't include anything except her clothes - no shoes, no jewellery, no accessories. It was really nice, but I really wish it had been a bit more.
