There was an issue re our room but Ami the assistant manager was fabulous and sorted it straight away the 2nd day of our stay,it was a mix up from central reservations and the hotel and has been very positively resolved,...the room was very clean, the secondary glazing blocked out the noise from the road brilliantly as did the curtains with the street/building lights, the hotel was lovely and clean, the breakfast was llovely as were the staff at breakfast around the hotel and on the desk....great location nr Tower of London 5mins away....round the corner from the hotel is the local underground station and DLR station and a Wetherspoons pub across the road from the hotel

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. The room was clean, tidy and spacious (we had a double) with an ensuite shower room. We also booked the breakfast and there were good choices, including full English, juices, cereals, toast and croissants. Very nice and the waiters were very attentive.

Per my review title, probably the best Travelodge I can remember staying in. The rooms we're really modern, not tired at all. We arrived early and the hotel were happy to store our luggage. Breakfast was excellent, hot and cold available. I thought Mohammed at reception was very personable and a credit to Travelodge, really appreciated his efforts in helping us plan our day. I wouldn't hesitate staying here again. Thank you

In a great location about a 5 minute walk from Tower Bridge station..under the railway arches and you're there.

Modern building, friendly check in staff. Area to eat if you wish. The room itself typical Travelodge room which was clean, basic but just what we wanted.

Location wise there is a supermarket across the road, various pubs and eateries nearby. Having travelled to London quite a bit I would say this is a great location for Tower Bridge area and St Katherine docks area where there are more great restaurants, a lovely place to have a wander. About a 15 minute brisk walk to St Paul's Cathedral.

Price was low compared to other Travelodge. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Another reviewer had advised they heard no rail noise and we were the same.

First thing..the 4* review is probably too high but is definitely worth more than 3 just for the polite and smiling staff we encountered so just for them I've rounded up not down . Overall it's a decent hotel right by the tower of London with very easy access to the tube. As with most Travelodges you get what it says in the advert. No frills..comfy bed a tv a shower room and toilet and that's about it.. if you want luxury this isn't for you..if you want very good value for money, especially at London prices you could do a hell of a lot worse. We had breakfast here..again it was ok but better options are available. Overall not glitzy but comfy enough and we would stop again.
