Most fun I've had in a resturant for a long time. The chefs were so entertaining and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the Shogun and Samurai set menus

We had never experienced Japanese before and decided that something new (including sushi) was needed for our Valentines meal this year.

We can't recommend this restaurant more. The service was exceptional. The food was wonderful. The entertainment was great.

We are now sushi converts (probably because the sushi here was SO good).

If you wonder "should we go to Sapporo?" GO!! You won't regret it.

Thank you to the staff for such a great meal.

Pre booked on the recommendation of a friend while on a short break to Liverpool. Very novel experience for me and the family. Sat around a cooking area, while a very friendly chef cooked our food. Another family joined us on the table for their meal who we didn't know, but it wasn't awkward at all. The chef was very entertaining and the children loved the experience. Food was nice but not fantastic, which is the only downside considering the price. You're definitely paying for the experience of having your own chef. Will return again to the one in Manchester as a couple and see how the experience differs.

Sushi ordered for starters was very nice and there was a good selection, that was the most enjoyable part of the meal by far. The mains were all very easy, simply to make and not that flavourful. Honestly, I think you could quite easily make your own, better versions at home. Don't get me wrong, not horrible to eat, but you basically pay £15+ for some rice and fried vegetables with a dash of something ready made from a bottle. Some overlap between dishes too which was a bit annoying, ordered a stuffed sushi pocket dish as starter and then found that half of my main was the exact same as the sushi stuffing.

Staff not great, we were one of only 6-8 people in there at the time and still had massive delays in ordering food and drinks. First drinks order wasn't correct (although didn't bother to complain about it so can't comment on how they would have dealt with that, but still, maybe write it down instead of just walking off thinking you can remember it?). Hard to get their attention too as they spend most of their time either not being anywhere to be seen, or stood against a wall staring at their phones.

Chef was quite entertaining and I feel like this could be good for group events or if you had kids with you, but I definitely wouldn't recommend this restaurant for a date or a relaxing meal as they do interact with you a lot. Can be a good or bad thing depending on the reason for eating here I think.

Might revisit if part of a group purely as it's a slightly novel experience, however I don't really think it's worth the cost.
