We'd asked for a quiet table and the lady on the front desk realised that she'd put us on a table next to a stag party so moved us to the other side of the restaurant. Only trouble was this was near a screaming baby, whose dad (mum was out shopping and arrived later) was more interested in his phone than the fact that his baby was annoying everyone in the restaurant.
As the place filled up all the noises were drowned out by chatter and we began to enjoy ourselves.
The freshly mixed fruit juices were very tasty and so was all the food that we ordered. It was a tapas like affair and our waitress made sure that we didn't order too much.
A fritto misto was enormous and cooked brilliantly. We also chose tuna tartare, black pudding with chicken livers and a basket of fries, salted and sprinkled with parmesan.
Coffees were great too and the service throughout was slick and friendly.
Amazingly the bill came to well under £40!
