Went for food with my boyfriend, a very fussy eater. He was worried he wouldn't like anything but had pork ribs to start and chicken teriyaki and ate everything. I always have the katsu curry. It was lovely, but so filling! Only downside is I do think it is on the tad expensive side, especially when you sit on benches next to other diners. Also note food is sent out as and when it is ready so you often find you are eating at different times and maybe finished before some even have their food.

This Wagamama is on the top floor of Liverpool One so handy for lunch after hitting the shops. For those people who have visited one before it's Pan-Asian food, based on Japanese ramen bars, but it certainly doesn't claim to be authentic Asian food. If you are looking for an intimate dining experience then this is not for you as you are seated at long benches with other diners very close by. The menu is predominantly either ramen (big bowls of broth with noodles and veggies and your choice of meat/fish) and noodle or rice dishes, but there are plenty of other options. The menu clearly states that all dishes are cooked freshly to order and will be served as they are cooked so yes, you may all get your food at different times. Team members always ask if you've eaten at Wagamama before and will happily explain how things work. All food is served with chopsticks, but forks are available if you're worried about the food actually making it to your mouth rather than sloping everywhere!

My children love Wagamama and between us, we've tried most of the things on the menu, enjoying most of them. I also love the fresh juices, although they are quite expensive. This branch is on a par with others ones and we'll definitely eat here again.

If you have eaten Ramen and Curry before, you know the Ramen's Soup and the Curry's Sauce is everything!! All I can say is, any can of cheap chicken soup and curry sauce that you can buy in any local supermarket will taste 10x times better than Wagamama.
