Albert Dock has a little of everything. Free museums - visit the Maritime - great for kids and adults alike. Great walks along the Mersey. Tate Gallery was worth the visit. Hope to come back to see World Museum and the slavery museum. Sunny day helped.

I was a regular visitor to the Albert Dock in the 80s...loved it then & still do! So much to see & do from the Tate to cafes & bars...& the iconic views across/up/down the Mersey & the Liverpool skyline... well worth a visit any time of year.

First visit to Liverpool and have to say I like the area around Albert Dock. There is plenty to do around the area including restaurants shops museums. The riverside walk is quite nice. The big wheel is just behind Albert Dock. If you walk right when you get to the river and walk along the front past the Liverpool museum you will see the Fab 4 statue opposite the Royal liverbird building. Quite a buzz about the area
