Very central hotel
Great for getting around.
It's very chaotic in restaurant,and in lounge bar area,
Not near enough staff to cope with large number guests,
Restaurant poor menu
Staff ok,but not in the least bit friendly.
Room clean tidy,made up daily but not till well on in the day.
Over all it was an ok stay,as we were busy doing tourist things and not in hotel that much,
Plenty hotels in Liverpool to choose from,so would stay else where on our next visit.

Great location. Nice bar and good range of food on the menu. Daughter loved the swimming pool. Beds super comfy and excellent customer service. Will deffo stay here again. We left a shopping bag in reception when we checked out. This was posted out to us and arrived the next day, free of charge. Lovely staff.

Lovely hotel in a good location, within walking distance of attractions. Housekeeping however left a lot to be desired. On arrival there was a sweet paper on floor and the safe was locked. The next day the room was not serviced at all. Following day the bed was made but overflowing bins had not been emptied and tea/coffee had not been replenished.

I stayed here for two nights on a business trip, and altogether I thought that the place was efficient, friendly and very good value.

I was upgraded to an executive room (I'm a Platinum Accor member), which was very spacious and comfortable. Check-in was very efficient and check-out similarly so, with no problem in leaving luggage until I could collect it later in the day.

There were all the amenities one would expect in the bathroom ... and more. And generally the products were of a good quality. There were also two bottles of water in the fridge, which were very welcome and a touch that I much appreciate.

Downstairs in the restaurant, the food in the evenings was very average but the prices were good. My server one one night, Diana, deserves a particular 'shout out' for her delightful, friendly demeanour and her helpful and efficient service. Thank you. People have complained about queues at breakfast but there were none during my stay but perhaps that's because the first week of January is fairly much 'low season' in Liverpool! And the breakfast was good.

It would have been nice to have some electrical sockets near the bed, and the desk was a rather complicated affair, which had too little room on it. The lighting in the room was also rather on the dim side.

However, all in all, this place has a great location and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Very disapointed stay again. As a gold member in accor we expekt more.Got a mail some days before arrival and wrote early check in. When we arrive 12 we still had to wait 3 hours and when we got the room it was up grated but i had booked a twin room and dont want king bed.It was like it was my fault.... The first 3 days there was nobody into the room even i put out the sign please make up room. The 4 day when i asked if they could change the towel they took all the towels....the same the next day. Tried for more than a week to get them to fix the telefon in the room so i dont had to go to the resepsion every time. When they come to fix it, it wasnt even connected...and hasnt been since they fix the room the guy said..shame. Under the bed it was also very dirty....My wife also tried to get another pillow when she was sick but nothing happened before i 3 hours later when i again again walked to the resepstion. ( i am a catering supervisor at an oil rigg taking care of the food and cleaning) The people working in the reseption just says yes but nothing happenings.. I can garanti you we will never stay at novotel Liverpool again, last time 2 years ago it was also a mess but thought this time it should be better. Should have a look at other accor hotels i liverpool like addagio and pullman. I thought when you book 2 weeks stay the hotel takes care of you.
