Came here for my birthday on Saturday with 8 of my friends and we all had such a lovely night! I'd been here before and adored it so wanted them to experience it too. The service was great and all the staff are really friendly and helpful. The food is so amazing, me and my friend had the patatas bravas, calamari, Spanish loaded fries and the meatballs and it was all gorgeous. The cocktails and the kinder bueno shots are so so nice. The atmosphere is great too. I also got a gorgeous little birthday cake which was so kind! Thank you so much for a fabulous night!

Had such an amazing meal here. My daughters loved the calamari so much they had 3 portions! The rest of the dishes were superb too, especially the salt and pepper Halloumi and rum and coconut wings.

The portions are generous and cost between 5 and 6.50. Absolutely worth every penny.

The restaurant is really well presented and staff were very friendly and relaxed, especially considering we ordered a few dishes at a time as we went along.

Overall, one of the best places for small plates in Liverpool (they do more than just traditional tapas) that captures a chilled vibe.

Great for families even in a Friday night

Me and a friend came here for some tapas and a few cocktails. I'd seen the espresso martini menu and couldn't wait to try a couple out, but we saw the gin cocktail menu too and decided to go from that one for a few first. The Lucy in the Sky was a favourite of mine! And my friend loved the Juniper Rising. The waitress was friendly and helpful by suggesting some cocktails to us, the waiting on staff were quick to take another drinks order when our glasses were nearly empty, and Brian was very friendly and welcoming. The food was great; big portions and tasty. We ordered 6 tapas between us and could barely finish it all. The calamari was the best cooked calamari I've eaten yet. And the coconut and rum chicken wings were deliciiiooouss. We finished the night with some espresso martinis, the Shamrock express is to die for, and I don't even like whisky! Definitely one to try. And the place itself is decorated beautifully, so cosy. Top notch place to visit!

You won't walk past it, you have to "find" it. We booked for 7pm, a warm greeting and straight upstairs to the table. The seats really are pallets with cushions on as seen in the pictures. The tablecloth was "different" and we have the same item as a bathmat at home!
Choice of 4 largers and "certain" cocktails on a 241. The waitress was slow to take the order and the food arrived before the drinks. For tapas, these plates and dishes are a very good size and not the usual "tiny" portions offer given.
The lamb lollipops were AMAZING and cooked perfectly. Gorgeous humous and bread, 5 other dishes include Prawn, Calamari, Chorizo, Nachos and Spanish Loaded Fries.
The food was hot and we had no complaints.
Sadly, within a few hours I was violently sick ! (Only 1 pint of Moritz larger consummed)

Overall we observed the service was slow with many of the 30 other guests either complaining our asking for things. Some guests went downstairs to buy their own drinks! There were just 2 waitresses and 1 should be seeking new employment, the other was doing the work of 3 people and doing it brilliantly.
