We have just had a family weekend at Sea View Beach house. The facilities were excellent as was the locality to the railway station which we used to go into Liverpool.
The sitting room looks onto a large lawned garden which in turn looks onto the coastal path and sea. It was interesting watching the tide roll in and out, the ferries, tankers, container ships going in and out of Liverpool. We could see Anthony Gormleys "Another Place" sculptures too.
The owner of the house Julie was there to meet us and provided a beautiful welcome pack. Thank you Julie.
Had a fantastic family weekend at Sea View. The house was excellent with fabulous sea views and the area quiet. Spending time in the garden watching the world go by was very relaxing. The welcome pack was a lovely touch as were the fresh roses. Thank you Julie.
Booked this property via home away site really pleased as it was a gem of a find. Perfect newly refurbished property with high quality furnishings. Every room very light and airy and had a surprising touch with subtle lighting setting to each room adding to a romantic ambience. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. Only a easy 20 minute drive from the centre of Liverpool or a train station close by. The sea views from the master bedroom and all downstairs rooms was magnificent. With en suites to each bedroom made it private enough for family or friends to share. Will definitely be visiting again.
Half an hour from Liverpool city centre,in a residential beach side Gable Cottage
with excellent sea view looking onto Antony Gormley's Cast Iron figures of men looking at the sea in Crosby Beach. Spacious lounge, well appointed Kitchen with all the essentials, spacious dining area and a downstairs shower room.Upstairs has three double bedrooms each with Ensuite bathrooms. well maintained lawn looking onto the sea, which is regularly kept cut by the robot mower! enough space for two cars, off road. The house is maintained to a highStandard and Quality.Julie our host was there to show us around and explain not only about the property, but also to give us ideas about points of interests around the area and about good restaurants aroun and the available transport. We were welcomed with cake, chocolates and lovely flowers on the dining table! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return in future.
We had a wonderful Easter break at Seaview Beach House, meeting up for a family reunion to celebrate my mother's 85th birthday. We really loved everything about it and don't think the photos do it justice, it's even nicer than it looks online!
The quiet suburban location was excellent, right on the beach with lovely views from every window, and within walking distance from the station. From here you can take the train to the vibrant city of Liverpool or the lovely Victorian seaside town of Southport. There really is something for everyone here, whether you want to walk along the beach or just relax in the garden or go further afield.
The house itself was beautiful, from the exterior it looks like a typically English Victorian cottage but inside it is a stylish, modern, beach house. It is very spacious, light and bright with white shuttered windows and upscale bathrooms and kitchen and was scrupulously clean when we arrived.
The owner really was "the hostess with the mostest"! She couldn't have been more helpful, giving us some great restaurant tips and local information. She even left us a welcome gift of essential groceries, treats and a lovely cake! It was a great start to our trip.
We would recommend Seaview house to anyone and hope we can return one day!
