I stopped here twice in two weeks and the stays couldn't have been more different.
Firstly the hotel - well situated close to the city centre with lots of good restaurants, shops and history. Hotel itself was clean, rooms to a good standard and most things you would expect. The staff were good too - welcoming and helpful. The second stay's breakfast was good for a 'serve yourself' buffet breakfast and plenty to accommodate most people and constantly being checked and refreshed, also the tables were quickly cleared and cleaned.
Now the disappointing bit - the previous visits breakfast was a disaster, an overseas coach full of eastern European passengers descended for breakfast and just swept everything away, there was - no juice - no milk - no bread buns - no bacon (I saw 1 person heaping 15 to 20 rashes of bacon onto her plate - together with bread - making sandwiches and putting it in their handbag) - how you counter this in an open buffet style breakfast I don't know - I left and went elsewhere for something to eat - basically the poor staff couldn't cope and were overwhelmed - it wasn't there fault.More
