I went last night with my family for a meal . First thing everyone had to have a carvery as the wait time was 45 minutes for food off the menu ! Quite ridiculous when it wasn’t even a full restaurant . The beef on the carvery was so tough my poor niece had to leave it . An now the parking issue !! Luckily we were delayed before leaving an saw a man use a machine to put his number plate in . We queried this with the bar maid an she said “weren’t you told?” Clearly not ! Apparently you have to punch in your number plate on arrival or you will be charged for parking . £100!!!! She claimed there are loads of signs around . Well the machine to put your number plate in is stuck near the fruit machines in the corner ! Not clearly visible. There is a small sign on the bar saying “ dear guest ....” an when we went out to the car park the signs which say “ maximum stay 3hours “ were so high up it was laughable! They should be at eye level an even then there should be more on the door as you walk in an someone to greet you an explain ! My 75 year old Dad is certainly not looking up when he’s parked his car an when there’s a crowd at the bar you can’t see the measly sign ! In the dark aswell the signs were rubbish . It’s easy for businesses to say “there’s plenty of signs” but when they’re put up too high or in a corner then it’s obvious it’s all about money making . The service has gone down hill at grove farm aswell so won’t be visiting again .

My husband and I visit Grove Farm on a weekly basis and have been doing so for many months.
We find all of the staff so very friendly and welcoming.
The food is always of a very high standard and the staff go out of their way to make sure that our visit is the best that they can offer at all times.
We would like to say a special thank you to Bruce who last night made our visit extra special by going out of his way to chat to us and make us feel even more welcome.
One member of staff who always goes the extra mile for us is Becky, she is brilliant and we can’t thank her enough for the help that she gave to my husband and I the past couple of weeks when we had a very disappointing visit and experience during a birthday meal booking at Gynsills Leicester.
Grove Farm will always be our top restaurant choice, not only is the food of high standard but the staff themselves deserve a huge thank you for everything they do.
See you all next week from both of us.

We came here for the carvery and wasn't disappointed, there was lots of choice 4 types of meat and plenty of veg. If you have room for a pudding they have a good selection of cake that you can also take away and portion size is big but very nice There's a children's area as well, be sure to type your reg number on the iPads available at the bars as parking is restricted to 3 hours..all round lovely place will return in the future

Staff are lovely as always everyone I visit. Brilliant food will always come here for something to eat and it's a decent price and the portion sizes are brilliant. If not too much. The desserts are lovely and the sizes are big.

There is a lovely play area for small children. The food was family friendly but check your order when if arrives as parts of ours were missing. The children and those with a sweet tooth will love the desert selection.
