First time for me at hotel... husband has stayed few times.... he s a Blackpool F.C supporter!!! He was not wrong about this place .... it was lovely... from checking in... room had the heater on .... seafront.... decor furnishings all good.. it was cosy... cup of coffee looking at choppy sea.. perfick!!!! We had evening meals too "spot on"... breakfast too we stayed 2 nights I definitely did not want to leave Monday morning.... access to town is ok yes a walk but a good walk .... but hey there's trams and after visiting Blackpool for 27yrs first-time used them ..i thought they were great .... all in all a lovely hotel .. you couldn't wish for more... oooh I do have a disapointment ... not able to go on the date I wanted but hey "I'll be back" soon ... again thankyou North Ocean Hotel for making my weekend a lovely one

We just wanted a quiet weekend by the sea - Blackpool wouldn't appeal to us during high season, but in January it was exactly what we needed! North Ocean was the perfect location - right on the promenade and within walking distance to the town centre.

Originally, we booked one night then decided to extend it to 2. I rang a few days in advance and it was no problem at all! I received the new confirmation email within minutes. When we were travelling up we realised we were going to be later than the 10pm check- in, but again I rang ahead and it was no issue at all. We had a very friendly welcome and was shown to our room promptly - the heater had already been on which we appreciated on a chilly night.

The room was exactly what we expected. It was clean, cosy and had all the tea, coffee or hot chocolate you could possibly need! Wifi wasn't brilliant in our room, but to be honest we didn't go away for the weekend to sit on the internet all day, and if really necessary you could just go to reception or the restaurant where the wifi was perfect. Every member of staff was super friendly and nothing was any trouble.

Breakfast was so good - great choice of cereals, bread, yoghurt, fruit and juice, and even a number of hot breakfasts to choose from. We both had full English both mornings and it was great. Tea and coffee was brought out straight away and then we had a chance to enjoy some cereal before they brought the hot food out. It was very relaxed and you could have had more tea/coffee top ups.

Because it was winter, we managed to park in the spaces at the front with no problems. Although, if you were stuck there is plenty of parking in the area.

There is really nothing bad we could say about this place. It's a cute, cosy hotel that just has everything you would need.

Room Tip: The website has very accurate descriptions of all the rooms.

The location was great overlooking the sea front and about a 20 minute walk to Blackpool Tower. The room was small but had everything you needed. The breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries, cereals, toast and various options for a cooked breakfast all on offer. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Only a small twin was available given the choice I would have preferred a double room

Very quiet, peaceful stay despite being on the Promenade. The hotel was very clean and newly decorated (it seemed to us). Our room was a bit chilly despite a good heater - maybe the room had not been used for a while. No heating in the bathroom so we left the door open to warm the bathroom - good shower. The breakfast was excellent, good buffet choices - plenty of fresh fruit, pastries, choice of breads (make your own toast), and good cooked food. Would recommend for a one or two night stay.
