There was parking which is good and David on reception was a real asset to the hotel and was very accommodating.
The hotel itself is very outdated. I know the owners are trying to update parts of the hotel but it feels like you've gone back to the 60's.
We started in one room (221) that wasn't really up to standard, it was a bit dirty and found a pair of knickers in a drawer. The lift didn't work at all whilst we were in that room on that side of the hotel. WiFi in this room was good.
The second night we were moved to a much nicer room (105) on the other side of the room and we were happy with the room. The lift worked for taking our luggage up to our room. We couldn't access any WiFi in this room.
For the price the hotel is ok, the staff are really good but I don't think I would go back unless they updated the hotel in general, better consistent WiFi, working lifts throughout and up-to-date decor/carpets etc More
