“Best Hotel in Blackpool”
Reviewed 17 February 2012

Stayed for 2 nights, 15 and 16 February.

Very classy hotel with helpful staff. Gave us an upgrade when I told them it was my sons birthday. The rooms were amazing and huge. Beds are enormous. There were three of us so had to get 2 rooms but could have comfortably all slept in the one. Rooms were immaculately clean. Modern bathroom with the best shower ever. You could strip paint with it it was that powerful!! The breakfast was gorgeous and set us up for the day. Didn't have any other meals there but looked good.

The hotel although on the Prom was probably about 2 miles from the Tower etc, but that suited us fine. At night time you're away from all the hustle and bustle and stag and hen parties.

I know you should judge but I wasn't expecting a hotel of this class in Blackpool.

One piece of advice. DON'T book through Thomas Cook. Paid way over price than if we'd booked direct and gave us duff info. We asked, and were told that the Fair (PleasureBeach) was open half-term and it wasn't. They then wouldn't change the booking. We still had a good time and there is plenty to do.

We stayed in this Hotel on 14th Feb 2012 whilst visiting Nickelodeon Land at Blackpool pleasure beach. It was £100 for a family room for 1 night. Double bunks, very spacious and comfy - a TV for each of the bunks was the first thing we noticed when we walked in to the room.. .the room itself had what seemed to be a super kingsize bed with the worlds most comfortable matress. Plenty of tea, coffee, sugar and milks... about 6 big towels in the bathroom and a shower that had the down force of niagra falls.. it was amazing. So after the best sleep we ever had, we got up and had a very decent breakfast... toast cereals, orange and apple juice, ice water, coffee, bacom eggs, sausage tomato, yoghurt, fresh berries n all sorts. Very very happy with the stay and wouldnt hesitate to go back. Oh yeah, the kids loved it too ;-) Room 317.. not the best view to the rear as it seemed to overlook the old rollercoasters of yesteryear but then we didnt go to look out of the window all day ;-)

any questions - mail me

Paul

I travelled with my parents and I friend and found that it was a lovely place amongst the not so nice parts of Blackpool! It allowed us all to enjoy the pleasure beach and other Blackpool attractions without being subjected to the downsides of Blackpool. The room was modern and has separated areas for the double bed and the children's bunk-style beds. 'The Big One' ride sped right past our window which was amazing, but it did not make a terrible noise with the window closed. The breakfast was also very nice and the reception desk were helpful in purchasing tickets to other attractions such as the Blackpool tower circus show (a must-see!)
