Owner description: The Mitre is the smallest pub in Blackpool, but renowned to have the biggest atmosphere. It is an original traditional pub in the centre of Blackpool with a great selection of draught beers, real ale, wines and spirits.

We visited this bar as part of our weekend in Blackpool. Got to say it is the most friendly pub ever. Fantastic atmosphere and we had a great night. Don’t visit without your singing voice. Will definitely be back.

This charming little pub is a gem, outside is a sign saying this is Blackpool's smallest pub it should say friendliest. Visited it a couple of times over the weekend with a group of friends and we will always go back.
Cracking atmosphere with friendly staff, the landlady even joined in the sing song on her night off if only more pubs were like this.

Great old school pub in the heart of blackpool , decent internet jukebox and variety of drinks.
Friendly barstaff with great customer service.

We visited The Mitre pub last weekend with a few friends... it is located just off the promenade and is quite easy to find...

The pub has plenty of drinks options, including real ales, and the bar service was ok...

However the pub can get too full at weekends (as it is popular) and last Saturday being hot resulted in this pub being roasting and we couldn't wait to drink our drinks and move on...

If not too full this pub would be an ideal place to stop and chat to friends, but we found it too full and uncomfortably hot... but we will give it another try in the future...

Called in mid afternoon and settled down for a few Guinness which was served to the 'perfect serve' spent around an hour in there, they have some great decor with history signs about the venue nice to see and read. The jukebox was perfect not to loud not to quite and you could still hear yourself think. It is located just a stones throw from the main sea front. You really do feel like you are walking in to a warm friendly local pub home from home.

There are some minor downsides to the venue. The smoking area unfortunately is out the front of the building so you are open to the elements in harsh weather, thankfully it was sunny when I was there. This being said it is an historic public house so where else can it go. It is also quite small which i think adds to the charm of the pub but of course on a busy day may struggle to find a seat, advice get there early.

All considered this was by far the best pub I visited on my stay up in Blackpool, and look forward to returning very soon.
