had a great day. the rides were great and the food and drink was plentiful and not overly priced. sadly you can't now wander around free of charge which is a pity for people who happily just want to share the atmosphere

If you are thinking of visiting Blackpool Pleasure Beach be prepared to dig deep as an average day visit for a family of four, including park entry and refreshments is going to set you back around £200 plus unless of course you bring your own food and drinks. Queue times are reasonable compared to other theme parks such as Alton Towers etc but some of the rides are beginning to show their age and the thrills don’t quite rival its larger competitors.
That said, everyone enjoyed themselves and an added bonus for those in your party who are not so adventurous is that you can gain access as a non rider for only £6 which is a positive advantage not rivalled by many other theme parks!

Me and my hubby and teenage daughter didn’t want to go on all the rides we just wanted to ride the really big roller coaster. When we asked the price they told us it would cost £15 each. How on earth can the Justify that for a go on a ride. We refused to pay £45 for 3 of us to go on.

Kids were very excited about this place but only managed three rides in 3 hours as not only were the queues long but the staff take forever to get the rides started 15 mins in some cases!) and don’t fill each carriage. All a bit disappointing. £70 for the four of us but us two adults had a basic non Rider pass only...its pricey!
