“Enjoyed Nickelodeon Land”
Reviewed 10 August 2012

It was our first visit to Pleasure Beach to specifically visit Nickelodeon land as a birthday treat for our eight year old. It was a very enjoyable day and as this area of the Pleasure Beach is only just over a year old, all the rides were well painted, differing from the rest of the Pleasure beach which looked a little shabby in places.
I was pleasantly surprised that some of the rides were so scary - definitely not just aimed at the little ones like 'Thomas land' area of Drayton Manor, so all the family were catered for and older children would enjoy just as much as younger ones.
Book online up to midnight the night before your visit for a £5 discount per ticket - very good value at £15 per ticket. We booked by iphone and didn't need to print anthing, just had a reference number to bring with us.
It's worth a walk through other areas of the park to plan for return future visits. We took in an acrobatic water show which was thrilling for the whole family and a chance to sit down and relax for a few minutes. We went of a Monday during summer holidays from school and the queues were not long at all, so very little wait for any of the rides.
An enjoyable day out for all ages.

“Great day out”
Reviewed 10 August 2012

Loads for the kids to do. Aged 8, 13 and 14. The youngest had a wonderful time in Nickelodeon Land. I spent most of the day on the rides with him. It helped that it was a lovely sunny day as a couple of the rides are made with the intention of getting you wet. The girls 13 and 14 went on the Pepsi Max 8 times. I will definitely return to Blackpool.

“Great Day Out”
Reviewed 10 August 2012

For me and my son it was £65 well spent. We spent the whole day there and went on nearly all the white knuckle rides multiple times. The queues vary during the day with a lull around tea time when many people leave the park. Of all the rides the one we went on most was the Big Dipper followed by the Revolution. Once on the Big One was plenty. So if you're going I would recommend allowing all day to make the most of it.

“Much more than I expected!”
Reviewed 10 August 2012

We had unlimited wristbands for both Pleasure Beach and Nickelodeonland, and took our kids, aged 3 and 7, and had a fantastic day. In all honesty, having never been before, I was expecting a biggish fairground that had maybe seen better days, but I was pleasantly surprised. Plenty of rides for both ages, reasonably priced parking, the park itself was clean and tidy, toilets were well maintained, no gigantic queues for anything we went on and staff seemed happy and efficient. We had fish and chips from near the main entrance that were worth a few minutes wait; really nice and not extortionately priced! Recommended, and we will be going back.

“Great for for all the family.”
Reviewed 10 August 2012

Visited here for the day on Wednesday.
Parked on prom outside but there is a car park opposite and around the back of the pleasure beach, none are free.
Purchased wristbands in advance on the net at a cost of £25 each, a saving of £10 per person.
Three very large queue's to get in which were dealt with quickly, ambassadors on hand to answer any querys.
Good selection of shops selling usual rock, souvenirs etc.
Rides all great, park has been done up since we were there last year, yes still bits to be refurbished but on the whole, smart, clean and friendly staff.
Weather was superb so the park was very busy and took a while to get on the most popular rides, as you would expect in the height of summer.
Plenty of rides and other bits to see and do for all ages, from big thrill ones to a designated childrens area.
Speedy passes available at an extra charge.Saw many using them and i think worth it if the park is busy.
Carers of disabled guests can get £5 off there wristband as i understand it but you need a doctors letter to verify this.
Toilets clean, disabled and baby changing loos too.
Purchased these too at a cost of £17.50 each for over 12's.Family deal at £50 for two adults and two under 12 age kids.
This enables you to eat in about 6 outlets.
All you can eat Pizza buffet.
American type diner, serving jkt pots, ribs and fries, chicken nuggets etc.
Sandwich bar, choice of rolls and fillings freshly made with crisps and cake.
Two burger bars, burgers, hot dogs, chicken burgers, fries.
Unlimited fizzy drinks all day.
All in all, a good value day out, a great way to spend the whole day.
