Staying in Windermere and just chanced on this as looking for a bit of lunch - great music, good range of beers, a cute dog!

Thanks for your review.

Mr. H. (the cute dog) is a fully fledged member of The Crafty Baa team and can be seen most days enjoying the company of patrons just like yourself. Shortly we will be opening Crafty @ Home so you can continue tasting the lovey food and drinks we serve in your own home...but sure to visit us again for an evening of food, drink & music and to stock up from Crafty @ Home.

Vincent, Ben, Lisa & T.B.C. Team!

Visited The Crafty Baa on a Sunday evening with 7 friends at the end of a Hen Weekend & what a great place to enjoy some awesome sharing plates & bottle of wine with your friends.
Cosy & welcoming with a wonderful selection of cheeses, meats, olives etc with mouthwatering flavours. The baked Camembert is particularly wonderful.
A slight delay on food but considering 8 of us turned up, unhooked on a Sunday eve, the wait did not bother us & just allowed for more chat.
The staff were friendly & attentive.
An absolute recommend if you’re in the Windermere area.

Thank Julia C

We visited on a Saturday afternoon and although being very popular, means that it is very busy and only a small pub - we were well catered for in terms of seating. There are what seem, hundreds of unique beers and the food is also very very good. Well worth a visit! I will be back.

Thanks for sharing your experience of The Crafty Baa.

Yes there are 96 craft beers & ciders in bottles or cans and 6 on tap plus flat ciders, wine, G&T's, Prosecco...etc...and we cater for children with soft drinks and of course great coffee! Our food is locally sourced and made fresh for each order.

So charming! Huge selection of beer and really friendly staff. Unfortunately, they were having a problem with the kitchen equipment the afternoon we popped in so we weren't able to get a snack beyond bagged crisps.

Ahhh thank you for your review...

We are glad you got to sample some or our beers.
We really do apologise for the 'kitchen malfunction' these things only help us to improve all our services.
We do hope you will visit us again in the future as we pride ourselves on making delicious Crafty Slates and exceptional toasted sandwiches (all made with local & fresh ingredients) to have with your favourite drink.
