A week in the Lakes, great accommodation. Very peaceful, great Spa and a breathtaking view on Borrowdale. Apartment has everything you could possibly have wanted, including a Sonos sound system and even jigsaws for rainy days

Been coming to the Underscar Timeshare’s for almost 12 years, my husband almost 16 years, since the beginning. We’ve missed the last few years but I have to say it’s still fabulous. We stay in Newlands, which has a great view. We’ve walked all the hills we can see from the lounge window. The interior decor is in excellent order, two bed, two bath. Well equipped kitchen. Main bath has an integral shower/steam room which is amazingly restorative after a day on the hills. Spa treatments in Oxley’s are also good. Apartment has Sky tv with movies. Sonos with Spotify in each main room. Broadband in the region of 50mbs. Our energy bills have only ever been circa £25 for the week, which we think is pretty reasonable. It is the only place I genuinely relax from work and unwind. Far better option than the overpriced country house hotels in the Lakes.

My family have been coming to Underscar for more than 10 years now, and we can confidently say that every single time it delivers. We have stayed in about five cottages, and each one has a very warm and home-like atmosphere to it. There is a great little sitting room area to each cottage, and arguably the best part about them, are the extraordinary views of Derwent water and the stunning mountains. There are small balconies to view these from, and the sight is something that will never become boring to me. At the hotel is a relatively large indoor swimming pool and a jacuzzi which kids are allowed into as well, and it is overall a great way to either start or finish your day. There is also a gym to use, if you wish to retain any form of fitness during your holiday! The location of the manor is also very good, being just a 3 minute drive from Keswick which has lots of small cafes and walking shops if you need to stock up on any gear, and fantastic restaurants such as the Pheasant Inn are just a 15 minute drive away from the Underscar. Many mountains are also very nearby, and you can literally just walk out the door and climb Skiddaw, which neighbours the manor. In all, Underscar is a place I highly recommend you visit, and is somewhere I will personally continue to visit for many years to come!

We come here pretty much every year because Underscar is so good and the accommodation is very luxurious. The views are great. The pool is very good and they take care of it. The beds are really comfy. it is good that it has sky tv as some hotels we’ve been at didn’t.
