I’ve been coming back to Brundholme for 8 years now. The location is perfect to explore Keswick and beyond, with onsite parking included. Barry and Alison are perfect hosts and there’s always a warm welcome when I return. The rooms are immaculate, very comfortable and warm. A great, varied breakfast awaits every morning. This really is a true home-from-home. Prices are really reasonable as well. Great value. Can’t recommend it enough. You’re guaranteed to enjoy your stay!

My partner and I love Keswick and have a caravan here but when the kids and grandkids came to stay we decided to spend 4 nights in a B&B. This place was brilliant find.
Rooms immaculately clean
Breakfast to die for
Fridge in the room with fresh milk and water replenished daily
Perfect location
Definitely deserves the 5 star rating
Thanks Barry and Alison hope to see you again soon

Room Tip: Excellent breakfast

Highly recommended b &b . Excellent location friendly welcome and terrific views. Best cooked breakfast I have had in many stays in Keswick.
The rooms are lovely with some nice little touches such as mini fridge and make up mirror. Altogether very comfortable and a really enjoyable stay.

We’ve just returned from a weekend break in Keswick and were really pleased with the accommodation we chose. Its central location location makes it ideal for walking from during the day and strolling into Keswick for the evening. It has a small but adequate car park. We were greeted with a tray of tea and cake on arrival. Our room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was smart and new. The breakfast was great with plenty of cereal choices plus a range of hot food items which were cooked to order. The hosts were friendly and we wouldn’t hesitate to return!

Stayed at Brundholme Bed and Breakfast again for 4 nights, 27th - 31st December 2017 and what a fantastic 4 nights and days it turned out to be. Stayed in Room 1 at the front of the house with stunning views of the park, pitch and put and Cat Bells. Barry and Alison have recently upgraded all the en-suites in the property and they are top notch! The breakfast was absolutely amazing and filling, just the job for a day walking the fells. Had a stunning walk around Derwentwater in some amazing weather with some stunning scenery and beautiful clear blue skies. Heading back stopped off at The Farmers Arms, Portinscale for an excellent pint before walking back to Keswick, arriving back in Keswick in darkness. After a couple of pints headed back to Brundholme for a shower and change before heading out again. Next day was cold, snowy and icy, so decided to head for Ullock and onto The Swinside Inn, a fantastic and recently renovated pub, and well worth a visit. Another short but amazing walk with some great views but under grey cloudy skies. Back in Keswick for more beer then shower and change again before heading back out into the now bustling Keswick town centre pubs. the following day it was decided to head for Threlkeld via Castlerigg Stone Circle, very wild and windy up at the Stone Circle. Called in at The Sally at Threlkeld then across the road to the Horse and Farrier. Overall an excellent 4 days in Keswick, Barry and Alison at the Brundholme are exceptional and nothing is too much trouble. The Brundholme is a fantastic Bed and Breakfast, clean, tidy, fantastic location and very reasonable, and we will definitely be going back again! In fact we are at Easter and Christmas. Thank you again to Barry and Alison for their kind hospitality, fantastic breakfasts, superb sausages, and friendliness, they make you feel so at home in their house!

Room Tip: Great views from all rooms, but Room 1 has the biggest window
