We visited The Wild Strawberry after our 7.5 mile walk around Derwentwater. The food was delicious but as it was market day and Easter weekend it was very busy (which is a good sign!) but staff seemed a bit overwhelmed.

Excellent selection of crepes and cakes. We had the haddock mornay, goats cheese and roast veg, cheese and ham. All delicious. Followed by Cumbrian Slice and Victorian Sponge. Will visit again when in Keswick. Attentive service.

On our second day in Keswick, the wife and I stopped off for our second afternoon tea but this time in the Wild Strawberry.

I had cream tea - with an orange and cranberry scone, beautiful. The wife had an apple crumble crepe which she also enjoyed.

There seemed to be lots of choice and the place itself is decorated beautifully.

Defo one to try out I’d say.

We took my mum out for thebdayvand visited this little cafe. It is now a crepery serving savoury and sweet crepes and scones ; afternoon tea and cake. We chose savoury crepes. Including chicken I white wine sauce with tarragon and a veg crepe with goats cheese, turnip and swede. It was a lovely place. Staff very welcoming. The spring time menu had some sort of crepe for everyone. Very reasonable prices. They specialise in scones and lovely cake they had a great variety of hot and cold drinks also. Well worth a visit if you are looking for somewhere different to ear in Keswick.

Have been here a few times whenever visiting Keswick. Food was delicious however today we sat and waited and waited and waited some more and then we got up and walked out as no one bothered after 15 minutes. Menu is poor now and very expensive for crepes. Lots of other places in Keswick that offer good service and good food. Don't bother with this one.
