Thouroughly enjoyed our only meal at the Copper Fell, would definately recommend. There was 4 of us for the meal and we all had something different and we all thought our own meals were fantastic.

We had lunch in the restaurant whilst staying in the lodges last week. The restaurant is lovely looking and clean. We only had sandwiches for dinner but they were nice. It also wasn’t too pricey to say it’s on site. The only thing that wasn’t brilliant was the lady serving us, she didn’t really say anything which came off a bit rude and it’s not like she was too busy as we were the only people in the place. We would use the restaurant again when we return next time.

Visited over the valentines period booking a table, late evening. When we arrived to the front desk we were rudely greeted by Carol and taken to our table with very little chat, we were literally ushered in and quickly forgotten about. We ordered our drinks and food and again her attitude was rather poor as if she did not want us to be there. Our starters arrived, presentation very poor whilst flavour was non existent. That can also be said for the main course; lamb was relatively nice but very processed almost microwaveable and the sides also very plain. Also ordered the chicken pasta which was very bland. The chicken was cut into perfect cubes with no flavour and of a hard rubbery texture. When asked mid meal about our meals the staff could not stick around long enough to hear our complaints. When they collected our plates the chicken pasta was virtually untouched left to be returned Carol yet again asked why the meal had been left, when we stated it was disgusting she stated sternly that we could have had them replaced and should have said something earlier whilst walking away. However we knew already from a nearby customer that the kitchen appliances had all been switched off for cleaning and therefore our meals could not be replaced! We were made to pay approximately £60 for 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 drinks for virtually disgusting food (incl one meal left untouched) and appalling service! Would not visit again, it is a shame the quality of the bar & brasserie could not reflect that of the lodges!

We had a lovely meal here on valentine night. The place wasn’t that busy. The food we had was nice and the staff friendly and attentive. There was live music in the bar which was nice. It’s a nice place plenty on the menu.

Our family group booked in for Sunday Dinner whilst staying at the Lodge.
The restaurant is bright and clean and the young servers were polite and attentive.
The Two or Three Course Sunday menu was a good mix of soups and pate, with a choice of meats with seasonal veg and desserts. The grandchildren had a choice from their own menu, which they seemed to enjoy.
Overall a very pleasant dining experience.
