Brilliant afternoon with Friends for High Tea. Excellant service. Lovely Staff. Looked after very well by two very caring Staff. We are a group of 4 friends celebrating our Friendship.
So High Tea was called for with a glass of prosecco. Scones/ cream cakes/ meringes/ eclairs/3 different types of sandwiches. We were absolutely stuffed.
Thankyou Royal Beach. Well done.

Just a 1 night stay but the room had a great view of the water.
The service was fantastic and the food both evening meal and breakfast were great. Only draw back was had to park down the road as 1.8m height restrictions on the carpark so wouldn’t fit in.

Another return trip to the Best Western. Staff are always pleasant and helpful. Lack of air conditioning made this years visit rather uncomfortable overnight but I think we should blame the recent heatwave rather than the hotel. There was a shortage of fans for the rooms but again, I'm sure this was down to an unprecedented demand. Being an old building, installing air conditioning would be quite impractical. Car parking was a problem when we arrived on account of there being a wedding reception but street parking was found fairly locally. Breakfast was fine. There is the added convenience this year of a newly opened Co-op supermarket next door which was handy for supplies. We didn't eat lunch or dinner at the hotel so cannot comment.

Room Tip: Sea views are on the front of the hotel next to the busy road

We had a groupon voucher for 2 steaks and a glass of wine.
My partner had the starter of breaded brie which was bland.
The steaks were okay but I would have expected better considering it was a Best Western hotel. Have had far better quality steaks in Miller and Carter.
