“Large and Spacious”

We enjoyed a fantastic weekend away at Meadow Lodge. The house is very spacious and provided a perfect base for exploring the New Forest. The kitchen was particularly impressive and the large kitchen table was perfect for meals together. The bedrooms are large and comfortable. I suppose the only slight downside is the two bathrooms for the six bedrooms and as one is downstairs it means that 5 bedrooms upstairs tend to share the one bathroom. Still, a great place to stay.

“Spotless spacious house for a family holiday”
Reviewed 16 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Ten of us plus dog, ages 1-71, stayed here to celebrate Easter and Ruby Wedding, and the house was perfect. It is generously heated, light, airy, with all mod cons and comfy beds and a cot for the baby. Easy living space, huge kitchen, good closed garden at rear. Masses of car space at front. Wonderful area - we loved the nature reserve and pond nearby; the proximity of the New Forest with lovely walks and animals; the proximity of the sea (nice walks at Milford); best pubs are in the Forest - the local one is very ordinary; don't miss the Tall Trees Trail and Arboretum in the Forest. The rental company is exceptionally helpful and friendly. Large supermarket a short drive away. Hythe is also nice - toddlers loved the train on the pier. This house is really a find.

“What a lovely place to stay”
Reviewed 8 January 2015 for a stay in December 2014

Myself and 6 friends stayed at Meadow Lodge over New Year and never having
rented such a large property , I was unsure what to expect . However, it was
lovely - well appointed, clean and cosy - the open fire was a delightful bonus. The bedding and towels were of good quality even if the bedroom furniture was somewhat basic.Plenty of parking - we had 5 cars between us, handy for the Glen pub at the end of the
road which we used for 2 evening meals ( very good and a friendly welcome) and

we also spent NYE there with the locals. We used the local bus to get into Hythe
(bus stop a short walk away) which is a pleasant little town. Several of us enjoyed
the area for walking and of course Beaulieu and Bucklers Hard are only a short
drive and a must to visit. All in all a lovely place to stay.
