“Beautiful cottage, perfect location”
Reviewed 5 February 2013 for a stay in December 2012

We stayed at Half-pint cottage over new year for 5 nights. It has been refurbished to a very high standard and is simply stunning. The location is great for exploring the Cotswolds and there are many lovely local pubs in the area. Perfect for a relaxing break away from the world!

“Another lovely stay at Half-Pint cottage”
Reviewed 11 August 2012 for a stay in July 2012

This was our second stay at the cottage, having first stayed back in April this year. Since then the owners have made further refinements, making any stay even better. This includes the newly landscaped/planted garden area, which features a patio with small table and chairs, which we made good use of when the sun did shine. Downstairs, the cottage offers a fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, cooker, washing machine, dishwasher and all the items needed to prepare a nice meal at home. The woodburner is situated here and works very well, bringing that extra bit of cosiness to the cottage. There is also a traditional sturdy pine kitchen table and chairs to sit/eat at. The bathroom (also situated downstairs) features a generous shower cubicle and powerful, easy-to-use shower, as well as toilet and small sink.
The lounge is situated on the floor above, and includes sofa, large flatscreen TV, DVD/CD player with ipod dock for home-from-home entertainment. The bedroom is on the second floor, and offers you the ability of being able to lie back on the very comfortable double bed, and look at the stars through the skylight/velux windows at night. Lovely.
Out and about, a Sainsburys supermarket is located just down the hill for any shopping, whilst the Bell Inn, which offers good food and drink, is a 2 minute walk up the hill. In summary, this is a lovely cosy cottage, clean and well maintained, tastefully decorated and would offer any couple or solo visitor a very pleasant stay.

“Beautiful cottage”

We had no expectations about this cottage before hand but were completely taken aback by this beautiful, little cottage. We were so happy at the cottage, that we didn't venture out at all. We spent the day soaking up the sunshine in the garden and dining al fresco (which is something we don't get to do living in London). We will definitely be going back and can't wait to experience the cottage in the winter. Roll on to our next visit!
