Description: Huffkins is a bit unusual. We are an independent family business with our own craft bakery and a heritage that stretches back to 1890. Established in Burford, at the heart of the Cotswolds, by Mr Titcombe our breads and cakes were originally delivered by donkey and cart. Given the impracticalities of donkeys we have modernised some things over the years - but we still bake everything by hand. Our bakers work through the night to create everything from the bread for our sandwiches to the fresh cream cakes in our shops. We believe very firmly in sourcing ingredients locally wherever possible.

It's a quaint tea room and I had a scone with clotted cream and jam which was yummy. My husband had the club sandwich with good quality ingredients and very substantial- the chips were fab too!

Visited the delightful Stowe on the Wold and called in here for coffee.
A nicely set out place with a great selection of cakes, pastries, sandwiches etc!
The staff were a nice friendly bunch but were a little stretched to cope due to the place being very busy, which unfortunately led to a lengthy wait to be served.
On the plus side, the waitress was a nice friendly girl and the coffee was good!

Having used the free carpark at Tescos we strolled into the town centre to our favourite eaterie. Quite simply Huffkins ticks all the boxes. Not just the excellent service coupled with the varied tasty menu but also the pleasant ambience. On returning home I've just devoured their exceptional 'lardy cake', laden with calories & guaranteed to pile on the pounds-delicious!! An essential part of a visit to Stow.

Great breakfasts and very nice coffee. Even the decaffinated coffee was good and often it isn't. There are many tea rooms and cafes in Stow but this one is a gem
