Just come home from a lovely candlelit Valentine's dinner here. Beautifully cooked food, well presented, attentive and friendly staff, great choice of romantic music in the background. I've never eaten here before but will certainly be back. 10/10. Well done!

We stopped two nights in the Kings Arms in room No8 the hotel was right in the middle of Stow with a few private parking spots around the back, so very convenient.
The downstairs consists of the kitchen a pub that is mainly focused on meals although the "kings own" real ale was the best beer I tasted in Stow,. Upstairs were bedrooms and a more formal dining room, the dining room did have a few sofas allowing residents a seating area. We didn't eat an evening meal in the restaurant but the full English breakfasts was first class, this was slightly let down buy the support act although cereal and fruit were available I've seen it done much better.
Our room No8 was up another flight of stairs from the restaurant (note of caution: very steep and narrow, defiantly not suitable for the less mobile) room No8 was not ideal for someone six foot tall as the door and ceiling were very low. The room was fairly quiet at night and reasonable nights sleep can be expected.
Altogether the Kings Arms was an enjoyable stay and I'd recommend with just the above notes of caution.
