We stayed just one night in this gorgeous period home, Sarah has thought of everything and our stay was comfortable and relaxing. Good quality white bed linen, a selection of teas and herbal infusions, white fluffy towels and home made cookies, fresh milk, we felt so well looked after

Breakfast was tasty, served on hot plates which I like and we were not rushed. I spilt my natural orange juice on the lovely white table cloth... Oops ..but it was dealt with calmly and with humour all round...

The twin room has a private bathroom just down a few stairs and robes are provided. The roll top bath stands proudly in the middle of the large room. There is a shower big enough for two for those who want to share a moment There is a collection of toiletries to choose from. Delightful.

The double room has a small ensuite with a shower and a view over the garden and beyond in to Lewes.

Sarah's artistic flair is evident everywhere and the rooms offer visual pleasure wherever you look.

I certainly recommend staying here and we hope to return next time we want to go to East Sussex.

What lovely comments; it is always a wonderful bonus when guests feel appreciative enough about their stay to take the time to write a review.

It was a joy having you in our home, and a delight to meet you all.

Who wants a hotel ? The welcome here is completely charming; the room comfortable & warm. I particularly appreciate having hooks, say, on the backs of doors. The whole house has been cleverly furnished, with an individual feel. There are some lovely pieces (incl. the Leonardo in the ensuite). And then we come to the breakfast; I defy the best hotel to better this selection ! (Quality cereals, fresh fruit & dried, with a cooked course after which you realise that all the home made jams and marmalade still need to be checked out.
One night is not enough.

I really should have responded months ago to your lovely review Ali. I do appreciate you bothering to take the time to do this. It makes a huge difference, and is naturally
extremely helpful to know we are doing things right!
Very many thanks, and it would be wonderful to see you again one day!

I visited Lewes last Summer with my mother and we stayed at Dubois Bed and Breakfast. We had the twin room, which was very comfortable and beautiful. In the private bathroom there was a walk in shower and Victorian bathtub. The whole house was beautifully decorated and everything was spotless clean. The breakfast was superb and nicely set. Our hosts Sarah and Nigel were so helpful that we will never forget their friendliness.

We stayed with our parents at this beautiful B & B during the rugby world cup. Sarah and her husband are so welcoming and their home is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are perfectly decorated and so comfortable. The breakfast is definitely something to book a return visit for.

After a slow journey on the North Circular and M25 we had a very warm reception from Sarah and her husband. Nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay and as other reviews have indicated breakfast was first class using only the best ingredients and cooked to order. This is a very traditional English home and with a traditional welcome that we enjoyed. All the accommodation was spotless.

Room Tip: There are only two rooms, the double has ensuite and the twin private bathroom. Both excellent.
