Description: Brighton's critically acclaimed Terre a Terre is a vegetarian restaurant that will have even the most ardent carnivore waxing lyrical. Situated close to the sea-front. The decor is chic and stylish, using wooden floors and furniture to contrast with vibrant colours. But here the food is the centrepiece: dhal basmati buns with coconut curry leaf chatni, better Batter and Lemony Yemeni Relish and Thai aubergine jungle curry are just a few of the exotic and imaginative dishes you can find here. To complement the food, a large selection of organic beers, ciders and wines are available. A three course meal here costs an average of £30 per person. A refreshing take on vegetarian cuisine.

I have visited Terre a Terre every time I have visited Brighton and this time was no exception. I met some friends who live in Brighton. It was a Sunday evening and about half full for dinner. There was a lovely relaxed vibe.
Service is always great here and our waiter was friendly and helpful. We shared a couple of the sharing starters - this dish is very big and we were full after this. Everything was so so tasty. I had the steamed buns with halloumi which were also full of flavor.
My friends had the chocolate dessert for 2 which was also very good.
The food is really excellent here and it's the one place I look forward to visiting each time I come to Brighton.

Food was good, which is should be for a relatively expensive restaurant. Absolutely ruined by a high salt level across multiendishes. The salt, combined with liberal use of frying, would have made what should have been a healthy selection into extremely in healthy.

Service is ponderously slow and one dish never turned up at all.

Overall disappointed for a meal we had been looking forward to.
