Nice meal in the brewery quarter. A bit pricey but it was ok without being spectacular. Worth a try if you’re on business expenses and hungry, otherwise I’d go elsewhere

My partner and I come here alot because the food is delicious and the service is one of the best in town. We hadn't been in for a while but decided this would be the perfect place to go for our 3 year anniversary. We were greeted so warmly by the managers Calvin and Kate and they made us feel so welcome, chatting to us and asking how we had been. We mentioned we had come in for our anniversary and moments later we were given a complimentary bottle of bubbly! So unexpected and really kind of them! Had a wonderful meal as always and then out came a desert with "Happy anniversary" written on the plate. Another lovely surprise. We always have a lovely time when we go there so it's always money well spent. All the staff are polite and offer good service but Calvin and Kate really do go above and beyond...customers feel really valued and it's lovely to walk in knowing a friendly face will be welcoming you and a delicious meal is sure to be had!

This place made a great Brioche French Toast, it was fluffy and not too sweet, and a delicate golden brown. It didn't taste too eggy and heavy, but it wasn't dry aswell. My only complaint is the fruit salad was too wet and I had to tilt the plate to avoid the liquid. It had a nice serving of maple syrup drizzed over, and the fruit salad was a satisfying size too.

It was a cold, wet morning. When we arrived at Cote we were greeted courteously and asked if we’d come for breakfast or for lunch. We replied that we wanted only a drink and snack and a friendly waiter told us that we could sit wherever we liked. There were a few empty tables in the front part of the restaurant and a warm, buzzy atmosphere. We enjoyed a soya latte and a hot chocolate and the pain au chocolat were very good. The restrooms were very clean and modern – the usual Cote standard.

Arrived at 6pm on Sunday, chose our table and then my husband noticed his seat was covered in crumbs. Waitress said somebody had been sitting there before we arrived. Considering the place was empty when we got there I would have expected staff to have tidied the table considering there was little else for them to do. Food was good but noticed that the place needed a damn good clean....see attached photos!
