“Live the Sandbanks millionaire lifestyle!”

I really can't say enough good things about this house- it is spacious, bright & stylish, with top notch fixtures & fittings (the children loved the fridge that dispensed cold water & ice chips). The bathrooms were luxurious, the beds wonderfully comfy and there was plenty of wardrobe & storage space. We stayed with our 4 children from ages 6-17, and there was something for everyone, from the boxes of toys & board games (giant Jenga was very popular) to the box of outdoor toys in the garden and even cuddly toys & books in the children's room. The garden is compact, but well designed with lots of palms and a lovely large dining table, comfy sun loungers and a great gas barbecue (which we used alot). it is a simple 5 min walk to Sandbanks beach which is great if you are loaded down with equipment, like we were (incidentally, alot of the beach equipment is supplied which was so useful- there were fluffy beach towels, a wind-break, mats, rugs, buckets and spades- everything you could need!).
We spent as much time on the beach as the weather allowed- it is so stunning, fine white sand, wonderfully clean, lifeguards on duty, shallow water for the little ones, blue flag, cafes & shops, playground, crazy golf I could go on! We also went to Poole park, which has a huge boating lake and little steam train as well as different playgrounds, an ice rink and soft play. We also enjoyed watching the free fireworks over Poole Quay (I think they are every thurs in the summer hols) and there is also music, entertainment & stalls, although we didn't go to that. Poole museum is also worth a look too.
Anna, the owner was fantastic and couldn't do enough to help- she asked if there was anything that we needed before we left & even rang to apologise when the guests before had had an accident with one of the sinks. There was a wonderful welcome pack full of treats waiting for us too. Best of all, one of the children had left their tablet on the sofa when we left & she phoned to let us know & posted it to us for free- she definitely went above and beyond!
The only remotely negative thing I can think to say is that the TV reception wasn't great- I'm guessing because of all the beautiful pine trees surrounding the house, but to be honest, unless the weather is truly dreadful, you are not going to be wasting time watching TV!
We will definitely be back!
