We went to the museum twice this week on rainy days take part in the kids projects. Reasonably priced at £3 per child. Each project was fun for the kids and the volunteers were very helpful.

The grounds were beautiful. Great all around experience.

I will always suggest visiting this museum for anyone of any age, you have to pay to access the museum and house but the cafe on the second floor is a free visiting place which i always chose to visit when i needed to do some work on my Laptop. The cafe serves homemade cakes, biscuits and scones (personal favourite) and the views from the house, gardens and cafe are beautiful. Worth a visit and always worth a visit for a sweet treat and a tea.

The house is stunning and each room is exquisitely decorated and full of beautiful artefacts. The staff are all fantastic and very helpful. We enjoyed the gardens which are full of interesting features and plants. Nice tea room and art on sale from local artists. Recommended

Went on a Sunday, the entry is £7.5, (very expensive!)
The art is extremely mixed and poorly organised (18th century paintings next to 2018 abstract!)
The house is lovely! On this occasion all windows were closed and we couldn’t admire any view from the windows which was a shame!

Thank Samuel S
