I booked this hotel as were we're watching a band locally and it was cheap.
Me being me, I booked it and only then looked at the reviews on here. After I saw the pictures on here, I was actually dreading it!
Well, we got there and it was very dated, the staff were pretty unhelpful, the corridors stank of smoke, our room sign had fallen off and someone has just scribbled it on with pen.
Opened the door to our room and it was actually fine. The bathroom was really clean, the bedding was clean.
A few cushions with white stains on, but just chucked those on the floor and didn't touch them again.
The room was boiling with no way to turn the heating down.
But for £35 a night, the room was clean and big. All I wanted was a clean bed and bathroom and I got it.
I would stay again providing I didn't have to spend much time in the room.

Booked this last minute, very average all round, not a smooth check in, it took nearly 25 minutes!
Didn't eat here. Average price, rooms very dated. Quite noisy at night. Room an ok size, bits of tattyness in the room and bathroom

This hotel appears to be a popular haunt of frequent visitors to Bournemouth looking for easy access to the Towns attractions but also looking for a budget stay.
The rooms are excellent and the staff are efficient, the rates are especially attractive for single travellers who can enjoy rooms that are much more spacious than the usual shoebox sized rooms that single travellers often get allocated elsewhere.
I will definitely use this hotel again.

Stayed one night in a twin room £33 each , Room was clean, roomie and ok if a bit dated ,staff were very nice and check in/out was without issues, location is great for town and local stuff, only real problem with the place was £10 a day to park on top of room rate

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff are incredibly rude and really don't care or have any people skills or customer service at all except 1 guy who really tried his best, the others just say speak to the manager who is never about and spend a lot of the time accusing you of being rude and swearing under their breath, the rooms are horrid and really shouldn't be put up with. If booked through bookings.com they will mug you off! You should pay no more than £30 per night inc breakfast but they will charge you much more if not double. Avoid this place like the plague unless you have no morals or self respect. I would say knock this place down and give the rats in it a break from having to stay here!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID
