Having read the previous reviews we were a little apprehensive but the staff were all welcoming. The Manager couldn't do enough for us and they all made our holiday very enjoyable. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was excellent and the dinner varied and delicious. We would recommend this Hotel to everyone and thank all the staff for making our holiday a great success.

If you want a place to put your head down for one night and don't mind that it's smelly, dirty, mouldy, unkept, archaic, noisy and has paper thin walls then this could be an option. We were in a group who were staying for one night and the awfulness of the place became funny. It is however completely grotty and we didn't want to spend two minutes longer in there than we needed too.

In the first room, we discovered that there was no plug in the bath. We also found about three quid on the floor under the beds along with a sweet shop worth of rappers. Deciding to have a shower instead when they brought a plug and it didn't fit; we were rather peeved when it didn't work. We requested a room move and were shocked to leave behind a flat screen telly and instead found something from the ark on the table. We also discovered that there was no phone when, after having a shower as the bath looked completely uninviting, I went to pull the shower curtain and the whole thing fell on my head. Mum went down to complain and was apparently met with a complete lack of empathy. We were moved again, upgraded at the same time and again found a sixties telly, even smaller this time. Finally able to finish getting ready for our evening out, a bit put off by the danger of burning our bums as I sit and curl my hair with a radiator not three feet behind me and the only passage to the bathroom, my mum and I then had a lovely evening. It wasn't until we went to go to sleep that we looked at the ceiling and found the horrible stains ceiling and smelt the sickening scent that filled the room, pretty sure it was damp. Also, the towels were really small, I'm a size 14 and they only just fit round me. Barely.
The next morning, we headed down to breakfast. The hot buffet was decent but the fruit looked old and tinned. The accompanying yogurt was practically water and the toast was pre done, so cold. The tea was barely warm and when we arrived we were asked for out room number twice, the second time by a horrible pushy women.
Finally able to leave, we got to the barrier and discovered that we were supposed to have been given a token to get out when we checked out. Mum went and got it and we waited for the car in front to get theirs. Finally, we went to drive out and, going really slow thanks to the steep incline of the 'road', we still managed to scrap the bottom of the car, luckily no damage. And, through all of these complaints, not even an offer of a refund!
So, if your thinking of this hotel, run the other direction!

Stayed here for 1 night as we was going out in Bournemouth town centre for my sisters birthday. The hotel was not what we expected! They charge £10 for parking! The hotel is old and dated and smelt damp. The room had old stained carpet with an old fashioned box TV and the bathroom was old! The skint made so much noise when ruining the water. We went down in the morning for some orange juice which had been watered down. Would never stay here again! Location is great but needs refurbished it's 2016!
