Ate here during a stay in Torquay. We were surprised this place was still open as we ate here over 10 years ago. Great meal, looked after the kids well - excellent menu choice

Walked in just as the opened. Had a bit of a wait, but the jug of sangria helped. She had the me 2 chicken kebab. Juicy, tender and perfectly cooked. Not very spicy. I had the cajun chicken beast. Spicy, tasty, enjoyable and definately a venue to rerun to. Iga was the perfect hostess and despite her young age, she knows her business. A place to remember especially for the portion sizws

Was pleasantly surprised. Food was really tasty with perfect sized portions. The atmosphere was lovely but not too noisy so as to be able to have a good conversation. The service was good too.

We booked a table as we were advised that the place can get busy at peak times. The restaurant has a nice decor and atmosphere and certainly tempts you to come in. On arrive there were only a few people seated and eating, the staff appeared friendly and we were shown to our table. The menu offers an excellent choice, providing something for all tastes. The portion sizes were very generous, the food was hot and tasty. However this whole experience was let down by the staff who at first were attentive, but as the place started to fill, seemed to forget about their existing diners which doesn't fair well for a good customer experience. It was also apparent that some staff members were more interested in texting on their mobile phones whilst behind the bar. Our starter and mains all arrived within acceptable timescales. At this point things went downhill when we were given a desert menu. Despite trying to make forced eye contact for someone to take our order, 27 minutes then passed and we were still waiting for our order to be taken. At that point we decided we had waited far too long and tried again to make contact for our bill. Having finally caught the eye of a dark haired female staff member who I saw ask one of her colleague's behind the bar for our bill, jestering towards our table. At this point we had high expectations, however 10 minutes later and still the bill hadn't arrived. A waitress only came with the card machine when she noticed I had a credit card in my hand and my other half had put her coat on. I advised we still hadn't received the bill, and that no one had bothered to take our desert order despite trying to get attention of staff. To summarise our visit, the food was good and tasty with good portion sizes. However, when busy, their service appears to become almost non existant, which is disappointing and down to training issues with a duty manager who has failed to organise the staff effectively. This can be easily fixed by the owners, and once resolved, I would be happy to give 5 stars.

Where can I start, Ive been coming to Jingles for years and always get 5* service by the super friendly waitresses who all clearly believe in speedy service with a smile!
Chicken Romano is a must try! Along with the Nachos Caribbean which more or less changed my life, all washed down with a strawberry colada or strawberry margarita, lovely place food and staff will see you all again soon girls!
