great value hotel just a few minutes walk from the seafront, staff very attentive but carvey dinner can get repetative if staying for longer than 1 or 2 nights. Staff very pleasant, has a swimming pool and the rooms are well mainted and clean.

Very dated hotel but ok 4 a Base food was good but need more of a choice instead of the same for three nights
Room was ok when we eventually found it through the corridors and stairs we had to go down but was really hot as u couldn't turn heating off very dated decor but ok for the price
Wouldn't recommend to anyone that can't walk to far as it's abit of a mission to find the rooms

we arrived at the hotel on the 4th Nov just for 2nights ..First class service from the staff excellant food and Brillient entertainment . Rooms were basic but very warm and comphy. Piping hot water to bath in . Hotel very clean ... It does need a coat of paint here and there .. During the night my husband was taken bad we had excellant service from the night porters ..... Only downslide of the Hotel there was no heating on in ballroom and it was freezing guests were sitting with their coats on to watch the entertainment . This time of year guests r mostly elderly .........

Room Tip: lift to all floors

I visited the hotel on 31 October to 4 November and found it excellent I found it clean were all the staff were very friendly and curtious they have a heated swimming pool which I took advantage of. The breakfast was all thre but I was put off by the sasausageswhich was like a rock and cold also the bacon had all the white preservative which was quite off putting But apart from that I couldn't fault it The dinner in the evening had a choice of meat or poultry wit a good selection of vedgetables where all the plates were removed immediately very impressive. All in all the Polish workers on watering was first class

Room Tip: I was in 417 where it was reasonably quiet except seaguls and some where a masserator was on which was annoying for a short time.

Although there was only the two of us we were given a large family room which was clean and comfortable although a little dated. Breakfast was plentiful with a large selection of cereals and full English with toast to follow. it was nicely presented and well cooked and hot. Evening meal was either a roast dinner or a choice of two other dishes. The beef was cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth. There was a good selection of vegetables and salad available on request with a selection of cold meat and cheese. Once again ell presented. No complaints there.
There was entertainment each evening and all the artists were very good and encouraged the audience to join in creating a great atmosphere. The staff were all very happy cheerful and helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
The only fault we could find with the hotel was that it is built on a slope with steps to the front entrance, we had to go through a maze of corridors, doors and downward stairs a total of 41 steps leading to our room..where upon arrival we were at ground level it was quite strange. There is also a shortage of public toilets, with as far as I could see only one set for the whole of the hotel.
