I recently stayed at the Riviera Lodge for one week and thoroughly enjoyed it. My friend and I had a premium room which was spacious. In addition to the en-suite, tv, mini bar, tea/coffee facilities, dressing table we had a sofa and a coffee table, use of complimentary bath robes. Everywhere- in the room and all public areas were spotless. There was a wide choice of breakfast options, everything I ate was well cooked and tasty.Evening meals were available if required. Carsten made us very welcome and gave us ideas of places to go. We used the outdoor pool when the weather was warm enough.
IA possible disadvantage could be the hotel's position, up a fairly steep hill, which meant I used the car to go everywhere. This was not a problem for me, just mentioning it in case this is an issue for other disabled guests.
If I return to Torquay I would definitely stay at this hotel again.More
