Have stayed here twice - about 2014 and now in 2019
Rooms were clean and comfortable, but could do with a refurb.
The public lounge is a lovely place to sit and relax - it's been decorated and new furniture since we were last here, but they have kept it very traditional. The views to the sea are amazing
The staff are most helpful, and if you get the odd one who is perhaps not up to scratch (but still very willing), it didn't seem to matter, as I would rather have those than the sterile "robots" you get in so many places these days.
Breakfast took a long.....long time to arrive. I had scambled eggs on toast - when it arrived it was a tiny portion (crusts cut off the one slice of toast) The people at the next table burst out laughing when they saw it!
This place is a bit like "Crossroads", and I mean that in the nicest possible way. I would return without hesitation.More
