Very pretty, Victorian railway station, compact and clean. The staff were very helpful and it was lovely to sit in the sun whilst waiting for the train to Exeter.

Located right opposite The Grand Hotel, this station is always clean and tiy and is a very pictureque Victorian station. Plenty of parking and easy to obtain tickets and easy to collect and drop of friends. An excellent service offered to central London in just over 2 hours!

Nice Victorian station, very clean, no litter to be see anywhere. Great if you are staying in the Grand Hotel Torquay, which we did. It is only 100yds from the Hotel. Good cafe on Platform 1 for snacks, drinks and newspapers. Only found this on TripAdvisor when searching for other sites in the area. Run by GWR would use the train again, nice change to driving from South Wales

I only discovered Torquay Railway Station was on TripAdvisor having reviewed other properties in the town.

This is not an attraction, it's a railway station. It may be a landmark and a tad old-fashioned but it's hard to signpost it as a place anyone should visit.

Consequently, it's graded average. It's a railway station. Nothing less, nothing more.

Not recommended as a 'must-see'!
