Decided to pop in midweek on a wet Thursday evening in May. Doesn't look much from outside and they seem to focus on their 2 or 3 course set menu, (£11.95/£12.95) so no A la Carte menu obvious from outside. Was quite quiet but there were a few in. Decor inside is quite dated but from the moment we arrived the bubbly waitress welcomed us like regulars and really was an integral part of the experience. I ate from the set menu and it was excellent value for money. Many of the dishes were also on the main menu. My husband had a steak from the A La Carte which was melt in the mouth and all the mains were served with masses of veg and saute potatoes. Wine was reasonably priced and available by the carafe. We both left absolutely stuffed and all for £51 including wine. Highly recommended, they let the food do the talking so ignore the decor!
