We arrived at an extremely busy time, local restaurants full of theatregoers, but the staff speedily and efficiently found us a table and we enjoyed a superb meal in very convivial surroundings. My husband is an ex-chef and he was most impressed with the food, the service and the ambiance, as was I. Our waiter was Emily, who was efficient, friendly and utterly professional.
We both ordered Cheeseburgers, which were outstandingly good, with a generous portion of salsa and plentiful fries, beautifully hot and crisp. For dessert we shared a scrumptious brownie with mint ice cream and the wine and olives were also of superior quality. We were delighted and will most certainly go there again. Excellent!

Booked for an early supper before theatre. Service excellent , good food quality but one objection , £5.45 for a pomodoro. Bruschetta which was one slice of toasted bread with sun dried tomatoes on top. , between two as a mini starter. Two slices maybe warrants the price but felt a little ripped off.

Extremely convenient for a pre theatre meal as it's just over the road from the Theatre Royal.
I booked online and just as well because it was pretty much full. Friendly staff and quick service. My pizza and sweet potato fries were lovely. Nice thin crust. Husband had burger which he said was good. Wine very nice. Lively cheerful atmosphere. Light and modern decor.
Would certainly go again

After a bit of debate, we called in here 'on spec' for Saturday lunch, (we had dined at Wildwood Royal William Yard last year). This time we were offered a table in the window that gave onto a busy city centre roundabout. This suited us, but there seemed to quite a barn of a place stretching inwards. There is also a mezzanine-type floor with further seating. I was much amused by the rows of bottles lined up in regimental order behind the bar. Service attention overall was not particularly quick, despite being the only people in the place at that time (others did arrive during our meal) and we chose a different spaghetti pasta dish each. The pasta was very good, and unusual in its subtle spicing, but sadly was served on cold plates. This, together with the wrong side order that took a short while to be corrected, meant that the main dish cooled quite quickly to the point of becoming tasteless. We think this could be an attractive place for an evening meal with an animated crowd, but they must do something about those cold plates, especially when serving pasta,

We happened across this restaurant whilst wandering & decided to pop in for a bite to eat. The venue is modern & had a good ambience. Food & menu were ok & the service was good. The low point was the house red wine which I thought was awful & we left over half the bottle it was so bad. The food itself was hot, nicely presented & enjoyed by all parties. Experience was ok but let down by the wine.
