We have had fish and chips from here when it fist opened however not been since as we mostly have them whilst on holiday/in looe etc.
They did not dissapoint!
Good size portions without feeling chipped out! The batter on the fish was good not soggy by the time we got home the fish was moist and fresh tasting. The price was not bad for 6 meals to feed 4 adults and 3 kids. Yum thanks!
P.s thanks for not laughing at the fact i had to write down my order as i had lost my voice from a good wkd lol.

Thank sjgold

The best Fish and Chips in Plympton, I always order the haddock and what you get is well worth the money.
Unlike the little fish finger you get from the so called award winning fish and chip shop in Plympton

We have been meaning to visit here before and perhaps Bank Holiday Monday wasn't the best time to try it out! We didn't mind the wait, because at least the food would be freshly cooked, but it was so disappointing when we eventually ate it. The cod was lovely and white, but oh so dry, as were the chips. I know fish and chips are not lovely and greasy like we had many years ago, but without sauces and a drink these were impossible to get down. Such a shame, as we were really looking forward to them.

Use this place regularly and never had a bad meal. Crispy batter, tasty fish, good burgers and the chips are good as well.
The recent addition of the lunch time £4 fish and chips is excellent and is a good portion size without being too much.

Everyone needs to find that one fish and chip bar that serves good quality food every now and then in your life; this place can easily fulfill that. I've always heard locals raving on about the Kingfisher located up at the Chaddlewood complex but while it may hold the #1 UK chip shop title, this place is far more deserving of it.

Chips are far more fluffy crispy, the batter light, thin and crunchy and the place also has free parking unlike areas at the Barbican.

The price band isn't too bad either it's by far not the cheapest but nor is it excessively pricey and quite frankly... I'd always be happy to pay for the good quality. The staff need to brighten up a bit though, that's the only thing preventing them from making a huge impact and expanding their customer base further. (That said... I'd come back for the food though).
