My wife and I called in on the off chance of getting dinner at 18:00 on a Friday evening as we were in the area exploring and very indecisive as to where to go and what to eat. Within seconds of walking through the door we were greeted with a warm smile and enthusiasm by the member of staff that had to check she could squeeze us in before all the bookings began as they were fully booked for the night.
We had to have eaten and out within a couple of hours which was plenty of time for a lovely meal and time to relax afterwards.
I had the bacon wrapped scallops and my wife had cajun chicken wings for starters both of which were so tasty and succulent words just cannot do it justice. The texture of the scallops that were cooked to perfection was exquisit with just enough thin bacon to encase them keeping the moisture in.
For main course we both plumbed for Trio of Fish which was Pan fried Salmon, Sea Bass fillet and Red Mullet served with ratatouille and Dauphinoise potatoes, this was taisty and sucullent with such beautiful flavours throughout that worked really well together.
All in all this place is amazing, from the outside you may be forgiven for thinking its just another little corner cafe but it is way, WAY, more than a cafe/bistro.
Thank you to all the staff for an excellent evening of quality food and fabulous service!
