“Definitely worth a visit”
Review of Village Cafe

Village Cafe
Ranked #458 of 802 Restaurants in Plymouth
Cuisines: British
Description: Very busy suburban village cafe on prominent shopping street. Hot and cold food, many inside seats and a great local following. Useful to travellers coming or going on trips to Dartmoor. On street parking and a big public carpark to the rear. Has a Facebook entry (or two). Worthy of an entry. Competes with and complements the long listed Nibana Indian restaurant just a few doors along.

Very good chips and excellent cod... tho I didn't really need the mushy peas that came with it. Friendly staff, plenty of seating, good mobility access too! There is also a '3hrs free' car park around the back of the shop. Recommended.

Just your average fish and chip shop. Indoor seating/restaurant or can take away. Food was nice and very generous portion of chips. Friendly service.

Very disappointing. Half a chicken & chips for a snack. The chicken was so over cooked it made KFC look good.... yes, it's that bad. The chips were ok though.
Slow service and abrupt staff doesn't make for a pleasant visit either.
