Our first visit here whilst staying in the area. Drove down where parking is very limited but it was early evening so no problem. Tide was low so we were able to have a lovely walk along the beach. Definitely need to check tide times, especially if you're doing the coast path as you have to cross the river via a sand bank. Lots of birds including swans and a heron. The rooks were floating and all in all a perfect walk. If you have children there's lots of natural things to do and safe for paddling in certain areas. There are no facilities ie toilets but lots of woodland cover for emergencies!! I could imagine on a sunny day you could spend the day here with a nice picnic. Our dogs thought they were in heaven.
