I've just spent the night at the Mountbatten. As other reviews have indicated, it is a very clean, traditional hotel with very friendly staff. The cooked breakfast (with cereal and a bit of juice) was satisfactory and the location, across from a park, is tranquil. The hotel very much has the feel of a family run establishment in a neighbourhood.
I stayed at the Mountbatten as I had a meeting to attend in the middle of Plymouth. Be aware that this hotel is not in the middle of town but a taxi ride away, or a 30 minute walk. Also, after attempting on 3 devices I could not get their WiFi to work, which was very frustrating as I was unable to work in my room. If WiFi is important to your trip you might want to call them to ensure it is working. Good luck....More
